April 2, 2007 – Construction of Runway 25L complete. The runway was re-opened for traffic shortly after noon and American Airlines flight number 1247 from Chicago was the first to land on the new runway.

April 9, 2007 – Construction of the new Center Taxiway begins and is expected to be complete in June 2008. Construction will require closures of Runway 25R to complete connection of the new taxiway to Runway 25R. These closures will occur on weekends from 2:00 AM on Saturday until 6:00 AM on Monday. Closures are scheduled to begin in June 2007 and end in April 2008.

June 22, 2007 – Weekend closures of Runway 25R will start on June 23, 2007.
