LAWA Our LAX

Los Angeles International Airport - OurLAX - is much more than a place to catch a flight. As an international gateway for Southern California, every flight connects the world to the Los Angeles region, creating and supporting jobs and economic benefits that travelers rarely see.

Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), which operates LAX and VNY, is in the process of redesigning LAX to make the airport experience more enjoyable, improve airfield safety and reduce its environmental footprint, while maintaining the airport's role as an engine for the regional economy.

Public involvement is key to any airport, and this website is geared to provide you, our Stakeholder, with up-to-date information on LAX Planning and Modernization efforts. This website contains basic facts about LAX Projects, how the public can get involved in the planning process, environmental studies, and the LAX Master Plan.

We invite you to participate - after all, it's OurLAX.
